Our Founding Story
When siloed intent data became a critical roadblock for go-to-market teams, a group of tech entrepreneurs sparked an innovative solution—now a leading provider of AI-powered intent data and activation solutions.
Since launching in late 2018, the company has experienced rapid growth. Achieving profitability in its first full year (2019), it quadrupled revenue in 2020 and tripled it again in 2021. Even with economic challenges impacting other B2B tech and data startups in 2022, the company continued its rapid growth, scaling by 62%. This growth earned the company a spot on the 2023 Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing private companies in America.
In 2023, Intentsify launched a groundbreaking intent data solution powered by large language models (LLM) and natural language processing (NLP). By precisely calibrating intent models to customers’ unique offerings, messaging, and use cases, the company leveraged AI innovation to set the stage for its 2024 release of Buying Group Intent. This offering enables customers to gain persona-level buying intelligence, positioning Intentsify as the first to bring such a comprehensive solution to market.

Marc Laplante
Co-Founder, CEO, & Chairman of the Board
Marc Laplante is the CEO, Chairman of the Board, and Co-Founder of Intentsify. A recognized industry leader with more than two decades of experience in the B2B marketing and tech space, Marc spent 13 years at TechTarget, helping it grow from a startup to a publicly traded company. He left in 2012 to co-found Prelytix, a pioneer in the predictive analytics space and the first vendor that enabled organizations to see intent signals across thousands of different publishers. After selling Prelytix to MRP in 2015, Marc co-founded Intentsify in 2018 to help make intent data more actionable for B2B marketing efforts.

Charlie Allieri
President
Charlie Allieri is President at Intentsify, formerly serving as COO. He has an impressive career dedicated to developing innovative solutions, operational efficiencies, and go-to-market models for B2B businesses. Having successfully launched five data-driven SaaS/DaaS products, Charlie’s achievements in these ventures were driven by detailed assessments of existing assets and market opportunity analyses, combined with operational excellence and executional focus.
In his last several opportunities, Charlie led the transformation of aging businesses. He implemented organizational, operational, and strategic improvements to accelerate growth. In every instance, the go-to-market model and new solution development was integral to driving business growth.
His career has been divided between sales/marketing leadership roles at large B2B technology brands (e.g., Infor, NCR, and Teradata) and entrepreneurial endeavors launching/re-engineering businesses.
As CEO of Imperium, Charlie led the business through an acquisition and integration. He redefined Imperium’s strategic vision and transitioned the business to a SaaS-operating model. Prior to Imperium, as president of his consulting firm, GTM Acceleration, Charlie launched a DaaS solution in just six months. Prior to GTM, he held the role of Chief Data Officer at Aberdeen group, where he drove incremental value to customers and business operations by re-engineering processes and rearchitecting platforms. iLantern and Kemvi were two additional entrepreneurial ventures that launched first-to-market predictive SaaS solutions, applying analytics and machine learning to unstructured data.

Phil DiBuono
Chief Financial Officer
As Intentsify’s CFO, Phil supports global expansion efforts along with revenue recognition and analysis.
After spending 11 years working on transaction advisory services for both buy- and sell-side for private equity groups and strategic acquirers, Phil possesses a wealth of transactional and financial due diligence expertise across multiple industries. He has more than 250 transactions under his belt, playing a role in notable merger and acquisition deals ranging from $5 million to more than $1 billion in enterprise value with companies like MasterCard, Blackstone, BV Investment Partners, and Polaris Partners.
Prior to Intentsify, DiBuono was a partner at RSM in M&A transaction advisory services. He also held a senior management role at Deloitte for auditing and transactions before spending two years at a firm in London on the sale and purchase agreement team. Before joining RSM, he served as an advisor to more than 75 clients on purchase agreements including pricing mechanisms, financial representation, and warranties, while supporting networking regarding capital targets and conducting post-closing calculations.

Apparao Karri
Chief Product Officer
Apparao Karri is a seasoned B2B product & technology executive currently serving as Chief Product Officer at Intentsify. With over 25 years of experience spanning software engineering, product management, and entrepreneurship, Karri has established himself as a leader in the B2B data and software space.
Starting as a Senior Software Engineer at Habama Inc., Karri built a strong technical foundation before transitioning to product-focused roles at OneSource and NetProspex, both of which were acquired by Dun & Bradstreet. His entrepreneurial drive led him to co-found Cintell, where he served as CEO and VP of Product Management, showcasing his ability to not just build products but also lead organizations.
After successful tenures at Kronos Incorporated and ZoomInfo, where he held senior product management positions, Karri now brings his unique combination of technical expertise, product leadership, and entrepreneurial experience to Intentsify, where he drives product innovation in the B2B intent data and marketing technology space.

Allie Kelly
Chief Marketing Officer
Allie Kelly is Chief Marketing Officer at Intentsify. Allie is a full-stack marketer with 20+ years’ experience in B2B and B2C environments, a love for digital, and a passion for international. With proven experience defining and driving strategies that strengthen revenue and competitive market position worldwide, Allie has a track record for identifying growth opportunities and designing and executing impactful, integrated marketing programs that deliver results.

Marco Lagi
Chief Technology Officer
Marco Lagi is CTO at Intentsify and has more than 15 years of experience in machine learning (ML) and natural language processing (NLP).
Marco comes to Intentsify from HubSpot, where he built the company’s machine learning modeling efforts from the ground up over the past five years. He joined HubSpot through the acquisition of Kemvi, an artificial intelligence startup he founded in 2013. Over his career, he has published more than 40 academic papers. His research has received media coverage by Forbes, The Guardian, and Time Magazine and was included in the Top 10 Scientific Discoveries of 2011 by Wired. He holds a PhD in physical chemistry and was a researcher at MIT.

Ajay Subherwal
Chief Revenue Officer, EMEA & APAC
Ajay is the Chief Revenue Officer, EMEA & APAC, at Intentsify and is responsible for supporting global expansion efforts across revenue and customer growth goals.
Spending more than 20 years leading revenue teams in the sales industry working with notable Fortune 100 organizations, Ajay has extensive experience helping to build foundation and growth in both EMEA and APAC regions.
Prior to joining Intentsify, Subherwal was appointed Chief Revenue Officer of MRP after serving 12 years as Senior Vice President, where he was responsible for building and scaling EMEA and APAC business units. Before joining MRP, he led Oracle’s enterprise technology sales team in Ireland and held a management position at Hewlett-Packard UK.
Ajay holds a BSC Honours Degree in Computer Science from the University of Ulster.

Devon Wellbrock
Head of Sales, Americas
Devon is the Head of Sales, Americas at Intentsify and is responsible for driving platform sales and expanding the business globally among B2B tech enterprises.
With two decades of experience in account-based marketing (ABM) and IT channel sales—and having led large global sales, account management, and professional services teams — Devon brings a unique blend of leadership, extensive knowledge, and vision to the organization.
Devon is an active member of Pavillion and the Alliance of Channel Women, and she’s passionate about mentoring and coaching women in technology. Devon lives in Ocean Grove, NJ, where she enjoys spending time at the beach, long-distance cycling, and seeing live music with her husband.

Josh Andonian
SVP of Sales, Americas
Josh is the Senior Vice President of Sales at Intentsify, where he leads a high-performing team of enterprise senior sellers across North America. His primary focus is on driving net-new logo acquisition and expanding revenue within existing B2B enterprise accounts, helping organizations maximize their potential through Intentsify’s cutting-edge solutions.
Having joined the company as sales employee number four, Josh has played a pivotal role in scaling the sales organization over the past five years. His leadership style is rooted in strategic growth, mentorship, and a passion for sales excellence. He thrives on building and developing top-tier sales professionals, fostering a results-driven culture, and implementing strategies that accelerate both individual and company success.
Beyond the office, Josh is equally driven in his personal pursuits. An avid endurance athlete, he spends his time training for marathons and ultra-distance races, constantly pushing his limits. Whether tackling the next big race or staying connected with a close-knit group of friends, Josh brings the same energy and commitment to his personal life as he does to his career.

Brandie Marone
SVP, Revenue Operations
Brandie Marone is a seasoned revenue operations leader with over 15 years of experience driving organizational growth and success. Currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Revenue Operations at Intentsify, she has a proven track record of building effective teams, scaling startups, and transforming revenue operations practices.
Brandie is passionate about ensuring there are no barriers to continuous revenue growth. She focuses on building and managing the infrastructure necessary to support organizational success. Prior to her role at Intentsify, Brandie held key leadership positions at FullStory, eMoney Advisor, and Mapp Digital, among others. A graduate of San Diego State University, Brandie is dedicated to driving innovation and delivering exceptional results.

Jenny Gustafson
VP, Customer Operations
Jenny Gustafson is Vice President of Customer Operations at Intentsify and is responsible for the execution and fulfillment of all booked sales. Jenny has extensive experience in client services, operations, and lead generation—positioning her as the ideal fit for leading the Customer Operations team. Moreover, Jenny is passionate about identifying and driving efficiency across internal teams—while creating and maintaining excellent customer experiences for clients.
Jenny currently lives in Topsfield, MA with her husband, Derek, and their three children, Drew, Anna, and Davis. During her free time, Jenny loves watching her children play baseball, basketball, softball, and football. When not cheering on her own kids, Jenny and her family enjoy rooting for the Boston Red Sox, the New England Patriots, and the University of Georgia Bulldogs!

Marissa Picca
VP, People
Marissa Picca is the Vice President of People responsible for the overall employee experience here at Intentsify. A 20 year Human Resources veteran, Marissa has guided the employee experience for large global companies and helped ignite people and culture at smaller organizations.
Marissa gained her HR expertise at Lionbridge Technologies, Omnicom, Vecna Healthcare, and attune consulting. Her favorite part of human resources is having the ability to influence and shape the culture of an organization and watch it grow and thrive. She has a BS in Telecommunications and moved from Pennsylvania to Boxborough, MA where she is involved with town committees and volunteer opportunities.

Justin Harrison
Managing Partner, BV Investment Partners
Justin joined BV Investment Partners in 1999 as an Associate and has more than 21 years of investment banking and principal investing experience. He is a member of the Investment and Valuation Committees. Previously, Justin was an Analyst and Associate with JP Morgan Securities (formerly, Chase Securities). Justin earned his B.A. in Economics from Middlebury College in 1995.

John Batter
Principal, BV Investment Partners
John joined BV Investment Partners in September 2020 as a Vice President. Previously, he was a Senior Associate at Onex Partners and a Case Team Leader with The Parthenon Group’s Private Equity Practice. Prior to that, he was an Investment Banking Analyst at Deutsche Bank. John earned his A.B. in Economics from Harvard College in 2011 and his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School in 2015, where he was a Baker Scholar.

Eric Ahlgren
Managing Director, BV Investment Partners
Eric joined BV Investment Partners in December 2019 as a Principal. Previously, he was a Vice President at Great Hill Partners and a Vice President at Bessemer Venture Partners, after being promoted from Senior Associate. Prior to that, he was an Associate with Summit Partners and an Analyst with Bear, Stearns & Co., Inc. in the Structured Transactions Group. Eric earned his B.A. in English from Colgate University in 2004 and his M.B.A. from The Sloan School of Management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2013.

Mike Kelly
Co-Founder, Board Member
Mike Kelly is a Co-Founder of Intentsify. Prior to Intentsify, Mike spent 13 years at TechTarget, helping it grow from a startup to a publicly traded company. In 2012, Mike and Marc Laplante co-founded Prelytix—a first-mover in the predictive analytics tech category. Prelytix was later acquired by First Derivatives PLC/MRP in 2015.
During his 20-year career in the B2B marketing and technology space, Mike has established several leading demand generation and technology brands. He currently resides in Mendon, MA, with his wife Michelle and their four children, Chloe, Brayden, Chase, and Colton.
